FREE ASSESSMENT VIDEO GUIDELINES

STEP 1 - RECORD YOUR VIDEO

What to record.

We want to see three parts of your play:

  1. Rally Practice – 5 minutes of continuous rallying with a partner

    • Include both baseline rallies and net play so we can see all aspects of your game

    • Make sure you have warmed up properly before pressing record

  2. Serving Practice – 2 minutes

    • Hit serves into each service box for about 1 minute

    • Helps us assess your serving technique

  3. Point Play – 6-8 minutes of singles or doubles points

Total recording time: approximately 13-15 minutes

This will allow us to observe your technique, movement, shot selection, and overall game style during different scenarios

STEP 2 - CAMERA POSITIONING

How to record.

You can record your video using a smartphone or any camera — no special equipment is required. (We do recommend using a tripod if possible to keep the shot steady.)

Place your camera at the baseline behind you so that your full body and the width of the court are visible. This angle captures rallies, net play, serves, and points in one shot.

Optional: If you want, you can record a second clip from near the net to show your shot preparation and follow-through from a different angle.
